1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly (name, email, workspace and beta-application details), information from third-party integrations you authorize (GitHub commits, Linear issues, Slack messages), and usage data (pages visited, features used, standup submission frequency).
2. How we use your information
We use your data to generate standup summaries, provide the service, send you transactional emails (standup reminders, digest emails), evaluate beta applications, arrange founder-led setup, and improve the product. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data retention
Free plan: standup data is retained for 30 days. Paid workspace plans retain data for the life of the subscription plus 90 days after cancellation. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Beta-application details are retained for up to 90 days unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
4. Third-party services
Virgo AI uses Clerk for authentication, Stripe for billing, Neon for data storage, Resend for email delivery, and Vercel for hosting, BotID abuse protection, and basic analytics. A beta request is delivered through Resend to Virgo's monitored inbox. Each service has its own privacy policy, and we share only the data needed for that service. When you use an AI feature, the prompts, draft answers, and related context are sent to the configured AI provider for that workspace. OpenAI and Anthropic use the retention terms in their current business and API policies. For a custom provider, the workspace administrator chooses the endpoint, and that provider applies its own privacy and retention terms. Review those terms before enabling the provider.
5. Operational telemetry
We collect operational telemetry such as request timing, errors, feature names, provider names, and model names to keep Virgo AI reliable and secure. We do not record AI prompts or outputs for telemetry unless the SENTRY_AI_RECORD_IO setting is explicitly enabled for the deployment. When enabled, that setting permits prompt and output recording in Sentry for debugging and incident response. It is off unless configured by the operator.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at jacob.manis@standupai.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
